As Richard Notkin explains, “I intend to choose artists who interpret the theme in a wide variety of ways, from purely abstract works to highly narrative pieces. It’s about the liquid of life and the liquid of death, about empire and about hell. The parameters are wide open.”

A small scall ceramic vessel by Susan Boase entitled “Little Eden #1” was included in “The 2006 International Orton Cone Box Show”, juried by Steven Hill, Don Reitz and Inge Balch. The show opened at Georgie’s Ceramics in conjunction with the 2006 NCECA national conference held in Portland, OR and will travel to various sites over 18 months.

A teapot by Susan Boase entitled “Sea and Sky” was included in a show at Baltimore Clayworks, Baltimore, MD. The show, “100 Teapots III”, juried by Julia Galloway, runs from January 13 – February 21, 2007. www.baltimoreclayworks.org

A ceramic cup by Susan Boase entitled “Caterpillar Cup” was included in a show entitled “The Cup, Sacramento International Airport, Terminal B”, juried by Linda Welch, exploding head gallery, Sacramento, CA. The show ran May 4 – August 16, 2006.
